Mineco Bear Bubble Gum Review

Mineco Bear Bubble Gum

Mineco Bear Bubble Gum

I first had my first taste of Mineco Bear Bubble Gum a few months ago and I quickly became a devoted cub to their wonderful taste and unique, cute bear shape.

At first glance, four pieces of bubble gum just doesn’t suffice my Presidents to gum ratio. I, like most people, want more gum for less money. If Juicy Fruit had only four pieces of bubble gum, I would stick them all in my mouth, chew all the juicy fruity out of it and spit that flavorless, chewy blob out thirty seconds later. Four pieces just doesn’t roar as fantastic savings. The people at Mineco stayed one step of ahead of me. Each bear is hand decorated with quality in mind. It is visibly clear that mistakes occur during the decorating process, showing the unique characteristics of each bear (Tutti Frutti is obviously the most eccentric of the slouthe (a group of bears). Unlike his friends, his name does not correspond with a fruit flavor. He’s that unique). Even with that in mind, I still felt reluctant and hesitant to buy those colorful bears. Come on, only four? What if I wanted to share the delicious flavor with a friend of mine who is bear bubble gum deprived? Will his suffering never end? Those bears answered me in an expression only abandoned, sad puppies can only parallel. Their large eyes pierced through my soft flesh and with their paws, they played a lovely song on my heart strings, gently tugging at them while singing a soothing harmony. Now I understood. These bears dressed in fanciful bow ties were a lost barbershop quartet looking for a way home (cave). I would give them a home (cave); a home where the weather is usually 96.6 degrees with a great degree of humidity; a home with a white picket fence and pink floor covered in taste buds; a home in my mouth.MO000070-3T

I bought the pack of bear bubble gum and quickly tore it open. Each bear was encased in the separate plastic enclosure/prison. They needed to be set free. From the first look, I had already predetermined my favorite bear. Grape Bear Bubble Gum or Grape for short was the first to be released and quickly imprisoned again in a new enclosure: the cave that is called my mouth. It had a great grape flavor and mind you, it was not a natural grape flavor. It also had a grape smell to it that put a smile across my face. I loved it. In ecstatic joy, I blew a grape bubble of great proportions and it popped right on my nose, taking me back to those days of playful childhood. Like the grape bubble, the grape flavor hopped on every taste bud and delighted me for short while before unfortunately, the grape flavor soon popped, disappearing, and quickly faded, just as fast as it arrived.

MO000070-4Stricken with flavor depression, I tried the next flavor, Tutti Frutti. To be quite honest with you, as soon as I started chewing on this piece of gum, the flavor caused a fight with my taste buds. It was tart and fruity but it just was not my kind of flavor (possibly due to the previous grape flavor still in my mouth). Quite offended with such an awful intrusion, my taste buds, wearing greaser leather jackets and slick black hair,  approached Tutti Frutti, who was now in a mangled state with his bow tie all in a bunch and only one eye left because of its initial meeting with my teeth. After staring menacingly at it and pounding their fists in their imaginary hands, my taste buds promptly commanded me to throw the ruffian out of my mouth. Not wanting any trouble, I spit Tutti Frutti right out.

Strawberry had a wonderful flavor and fragrance that I could not recognize as strawberry. It reminded me of my happy times with Grape Bear Bubble Gum. A lighter version of grape in flavor and fragrance, Strawberry boasts a sharp yellow bow tie and pink skin. It knows fashion. After chewing it for a while, the flavor soon disappeared but the chewy texture of the gum remained. Like its predecessors, it provided a great flavor with material to blow large bubbles.

A green bear? I was skeptical. Pink, purple and yellow are acceptable colors for bears in Paul Danger Land but not green. No sir. Green? I tried it anyway, curious of the flavor this tasty little bear had within its frosted layer. Melon Bear Bubble Gum certainly can give Grape Bear Bubble Gum a run for his bear money (bear money consists of salmon and berries). It has a prominent melon taste with a slight fragrance that does not overpower your nostrils. This is a cub that I can see myself hanging out with everyday in his cave, watching television and drinking some soda.

Overall, Mineco Bear Bubble Gum amazed me with its four flavors. At first, I was skeptical about only four pieces of gum but soon, it became evident that it was all that was needed but if they decide to come out with individual fruit flavor packages, then I am sure it will do much better.

Rating: 3 STARS (“LOVE IT!”)
